ADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR NOW AVAILABLE
FOR ALL SOLID-AXLE, COIL-SPRUNG JEEPS
Superlift
Suspension Systems now offers an adjustable and rebuildable track bar
for late-model Jeep Wranglers, Cherokees, and Grand Cherokees. These
late-model Jeep are arguably the best off-road performers offered from
any OEM and are among the most popular to modify for enhanced off-road
performance. However, the track bar utilized in the live-axle /
coil-spring suspension under these vehicles leaves a lot to be desired.
None of the wear parts on the factory track bar are replaceable and a
suspension lift shortens the effective length of the factory track bar,
which can cause the axle to shift to one side of the vehicle. This shift
causes negative handling and steering characteristics on certain
vehicles as well as accelerated wear of all components. Superlift solves
these problems with its adjustable front track bar. The bar is
constructed of 1-5/8" DOM tubing and incorporates a threaded
adjustment to center the axle under a vehicle sitting anywhere from
stock height up to 6" of suspension lift. The lower end of
Superlift's track bar utilizes greaseable polyurethane bushings for
increased life, while the upper end uses a low carbon, steel spherical
rod end with an oil-impregnated bronze insert. The Superlift track bar
can replace the factory track bar on both stock and lifted applications. |
